Tips and Service Charge

Here at Vagabond Wines, we're all about keeping things as smooth as a well-aged Merlot. When it comes to tips and service charges, we're crystal clear: all those lovely cash tips and charges go straight into the pockets of our hard-working restaurant crew, no strings attached.

Paying with plastic? No worries! Every penny from card tips and charges gets divvied up among our team through a fair and independent Tronc system. And hey, we're not just about good vibes; we make sure our folks are topping up their wages beyond the National Minimum and Living Wages, without any sneaky admin fees or deductions.

As for those old-school cash tips? They're like hidden treasures for our waitstaff, to do with as they please. Whether they spread the love with their fellow servers or stash it away for a rainy day, it's all up to them. Just remember, folks, what happens with cash tips stays with the staff.

We're not just talk, though. We're proud to back the UK Hospitality (UKH) code of best practice on tips and service charges. Check it out on the UKH website if you fancy a read.

And because we believe in spreading the love, our crew enjoys perks like a 50% Employee Discount across all our venues, tasty Team Meals during shifts, sweet savings on a bunch of retailers and activities, oodles of wellbeing support functions and tons of fun incentives to keep the good times rolling. Cheers to that!
